in 2024 Melbourne Fashion Week (M/FW).

FART: The Blurred Boundaries

“FART: The Blurred Boundaries” explores the intricate interplay and fluid ambiguity between fashion and art. This exhibition assembles an eclectic collection of works by eight artists and designers from diverse backgrounds, spanning mediums such as painting,sculpture,installation,photography,and fashion design.

It illuminates the transformative nature of artificial objects and tangible materials, whose value has been profoundly acknowledged within both realms, while emphasizing the evocative symbolism of animals and a keen awareness of environmental ethics. Set within a stage-like, narrative-driven space, the exhibition invites viewers into a uniquely immersive experience, with a tone of irony and rebellion permeating the curatorial process.
